Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Education- Recognized high quality educator with a completed or nearly complete doctoral degree in a relevant education field.- Masters degree in an applicable field may be considered if combined with significant relevant experience.

Experience- Expert knowledge and experience of course content including:
- The organization of education in Quebec.-
- Quebec's Ministry of Education including: legislation, regulations, rules, and directives pertaining to the respective roles of the Ministère de l’Éducation et la Ministre de l’Enseignement supérieur (MEES), school boards (now service centres), teachers, parents, and students.-
- Extensive successful experience teaching similar courses at the graduate level.- Experience as a School Administrator, Community Leader and/or Master Teacher preferably in the Quebec education system.- Experience designing and teaching on-line courses as 1 credit of this course is delivered on-line in support of the capstone project.- Knowledge of the Quebec Education program (QEP)- Familiarity with the 12 professional competencies specified in the Ministère de l’Éducation

Other- Knowledge of the impact and proven record of integrating pedagogical approaches anchored in equity, diversity and inclusion.- Familiarity using myCourses, Zoom, and other similar online platforms to facilitate quality teaching and learning experiences- Familiarity teaching blended classes is an asset-
- A commitment to working with a team of committed and engage instructors- Must be available to attend course coordination and planning meeting minimum of 2 weeks in advance of the course start date
