Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials in our warehouse. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods. Duties: - Operate a forklift to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse - Safely stack and organize products in designated areas - Perform routine inspections of the forklift and report any maintenance issues - Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory and locate specific items - Assist with order picking and fulfillment as needed - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the forklift - Maintain a clean and organized work area Requirements: - Valid forklift certification or license - Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution center setting - Basic math skills for inventory tracking and order picking - Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required - Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with the forklift - Familiarity with warehouse distribution processes and procedures - Experience with clamp trucks or order pickers is a plus At our company, we value safety, efficiency, and teamwork.
