**Production Manager Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Plan, organize, and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
- Monitor production processes and workflow to identify areas for improvement and implement efficiency enhancements.
- Develop, implement, or update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to optimize productivity and quality control.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Manage inventory levels and materials procurement to support production schedules and minimize downtime.
- Supervise and train production staff, providing guidance on best practices and performance expectations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members to foster continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and logistics, to resolve production issues and address customer concerns.
- Collect, analyze, process and report to upper management production data and metrics to track performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay updated with industry trends, innovations and developments in manufacturing technologies, processes, and best practices.

**Work Hours & Benefits**

Flexible 8 hours a day, 5 days a week.

**Salary**: based on experience: $74,000/year - $79,000/year. TBD at the time of interview.

**Production Manager Legal Status & Competencies/Qualifications/Skills**:

- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and principles, including lean manufacturing methodologies.
- Excellent technical/operational abilities and knowledge of manufacturing & production lines.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Proficiency in project management and problem-solving, with a focus on driving results and meeting deadlines.
- Solid organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey information and instructions to team members and stakeholders.
- Knowledgeable of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001) is an asset.
- Familiarity with ERP systems and production planning software is an asset.
- Able to multi-task with great hands-on/good with tools aptitudes.
- Must have reliable and readily available transportation/commute options.
- Able to work within team settings, as well as independently.

**Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements**:

- BSc/Ba in Business Administration, or relevant field.
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in production management or supervisory role within a manufacturing setting. Reference required.
