Edmonton, Canada Loadstar Dispatchers (1963) Ltd. Full time

Loadstar is looking for a Operations/Sales Representative to help grow the business by bringing in new accounts, working with operations, and assisting with management of any established accounts for our 3 terminals. Loadstar Dispatchers (1963)Ltd is a general and specialized asset based Alberta transportation and storage company serving all of Western Canada, Ontario, and the territories with an excellent safety record.
- Our trailers includes flatdecks, stepdecks, RGNs, scissor necks, super B decks, trombones, stepdeck trombones, and multiple wheel trailers.
- Our newer fleet of trucks include pickers, grapples, winch, tri-drives, tandems, pilot and hotshot vehicles.
- Loadstar offers local, short, and long haul truckload trucking services, heavy haul, destuffing of containers, project work, and storage.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participates in team efforts to achieve company goals.
- Excellent Communication skills, well organized and a love for trucking.
- Knowledgeable of Heavyhaul transportation and permitting
- Detail oriented.
- Problem solver.
- Able to work under pressure at times.
- Develops new business through a variety of prospecting and development techniques, including cold calling and making appointments.
- Builds and maintains relationships with customer accounts through regular contact,
- Determine and evaluate customer needs, participate in face to face meetings, offer solutions, and provide customer follow ups
- Creates weekly sales reports and account profiles as needed by the supervisor.
- Responds to customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and ethical manner.
- Assists with collections.
- Some admin and data entry functions

This position comes with benefits, salary plus bonus.

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
