**Vos défis au quotidien**:

- En étroite collaboration avec la technicienne en santé animale, participer aux expériences « in vivo » chez les souris (injections, gavages, prélèvements, prise de poids, etc ), en plus d’aider à l’élaboration et le suivi des croisements, ainsi que le maintien des colonies de souris transgéniques nécessaires pour le projet;
- Aider à la préparation et la soumission des différents protocoles animaux nécessaires pour le projet auprès du comité de déontologie de l’Université de Montréal;
- Participer au développement des essais permettant l’évaluation de l’activité biologique de nouvelles molécules produites par les chimistes;
- Collaborer avec les autres membres de l’équipe pour évaluer, rédiger, et appliquer les protocoles en plus de déterminer, planifier et exécuter des expériences “in vivo” et “in vitro” en lien avec la caractérisation de l’action des molécules;
- Assurer la collecte de données et l’analyse de résultats expérimentaux;
- Produire un cahier de laboratoire dans lequel sont inscrites toutes les expériences réalisées;
- Suivre la littérature dans les domaines de recherche pertinents;
- Participer à la rédaction d’articles scientifiques et de rapports en rédigeant des sections portant sur l’analyse des résultats et la méthodologie de recherche;
- Peut être appelé à effectuer des tâches et responsabilités connexes et/ou inférieures.

**Ce qu’il vous faut pour réussir dans ce rôle**:

- Diplôme universitaire terminal de premier (1er) cycle dans un champ de spécialisation approprié (biochimie, biologie cellulaire, pharmacologie, etc.);
- Expérience antérieure (récente) en recherche « in vivo » utilisant des souris et le maintien de colonies;
- Deux (2) années d’expérience pertinente en collecte de données et en recherche (un atout);
- Expérience antérieure dans la culture de cellules de mammifères et de biologie cellulaire et/ou moléculaire;
- Capacité à développer de nouveaux protocoles expérimentaux;
- Connaissance du “domaine des RCPG”, de l’étude du “contrôle métabolique” et/ou du “développement de médicament” serait un atout;
- Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, parlés et écrits.
