Surrey, Canada SMS Equipment Inc. Full time

The shift rotation for this position is **5x2.**

The hourly rate for this position **$33.31 per hour.**

**Responsibilities include but are not limited to**:

- Confirms all outgoing equipment has been inspected and ready for shipment.
- Confirms that proper attachments are shipped with the machine; ensures bill of lading corresponds with goods shipped.
- Ensures bill of ladings have correct hour meter reading information recorded.
- Ensures oil and fuel levels are checked and replenished, and units are greased.
- Ensures cleanliness of equipment meets KRents standards.
- Ensures attachments are inventoried to provide easy access and ease of component transfer.
- Ensures any areas of deficiency are brought to the attention of Operations Manager, KRents or Manager, Fleet Maintenance.
- Ensures proper shipping and receiving and other pertinent documentation is completed.
- Parks units in the “work to do” line-up and moves them from shop to “ready to rent” line-up.
- Maintains and organizes equipment in the “ready to rent” line-up and in storage areas.
- Ensures all machines and attachments are properly labelled with stock numbers, SMS and KRents decals.
- Ensures all rental units are inspected for possible damage.
- Records deficiencies and repairs needed for rental units.
- Records last service hours from machines onto receiving reports and notes if service is due.
- Ensures all attachments have been returned with rental units and notes any missing on receiving reports.
- Maintains and replaces all Operators Manuals in machines.
- Performs minor repairs as required.

**Qualifications**:

- Good written and verbal skills.
- Forklift training.
- Experience in operating equipment safely.
- Exceptional attention to detail and observation skills.
- Strong computer skills; specifically in Excel and Word.
- Self-starter and ability to work with mínimal supervision.
