**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:
We are currently seeking a **Team Leader - Lens** to join our growing company. The individual will will be leading the Lens Department in a positive manner to ensure production schedules and initiatives are completed.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Take ownership of orders from start to finish;
- Support your team on the day-to-day production and issues that could arise;
- Support other departments in their lens needs (such as after sales etc )
- Update order status on Epicor as well as update inventory of materials;
- Coach and train team members, and manage the overall effectiveness of the team;
- Ensure the cleanliness and the organization of the workspace, in line with health and safety, and ensure the good maintenance of tools and machines in the department
- Take lead on problem solving, working with all departments to find immediate solutions;
- Ensures good communication between departments.

**SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE YOU SHOULD POSSESS**:

- Previous experience of leadership (Demonstrates leadership ability, interpersonal and coaching skills);
- Working proficiency with MS Office, ERP system;
- Ability to balance priorities.
- Knowledge of Autocad is a plus;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Assembly workshop experience;
- Ability to understand Mechanical Diagrams and production orders.
- Excellent organizational skills.

**CE QUE NOUS RECHERCHONS**:
Nous sommes présentement à la recherche d'un **Chef d’équipe - Lentilles** pour se joindre à notre équipe. La personne sera responsable de **diriger le département des lentilles de manière positive afin de garantir que la production et les initiatives soient menés à bien.**

**VOS RESPONSABILITÉS**:

- Prendre en charge les commandes du début à la fin ;
- Soutenir votre équipe dans la production quotidienne et les problèmes qui pourraient survenir ;
- Soutenir les autres départements dans leurs besoins en lentilles (tel le service après-vente, etc.).
- Mettre à jour le statut des commandes sur Epicor ainsi que la gestion de l’inventaire;
- Encadrer et former les membres de l'équipe, gérer l'efficacité globale de l'équipe;
- Veiller à la propreté et à l'organisation de l'espace de travail, dans le respect des règles d'hygiène et de sécurité, et assurer le bon entretien des outils et des machines dans le département.
- Prendre l'initiative de résoudre les problèmes, en collaborant avec tous les services pour trouver des solutions immédiates ;
- Assurer une bonne communication entre les départements.

**VOS COMPÉTENCES**:

- Expérience précédente en leadership (démonstration de capacités de leadership, compétences interpersonnelles et en coaching) ;
- Maîtrise de MS Office, système ERP ;
- Capacite à établir les priorités
- Connaissance d'Autocad est un plus ;
- Bonnes compétences en communication verbale et écrite ;
- Expérience en atelier d'assemblage ;
- Capacité à comprendre les dessins technique et les commandes de production.
