WE ARE GROWING and looking to fill two Career Coach positions - one full-time position with our Transitions to Employment program, and one part-time position for a new language-focused employment program at our Edmonton campus

Transitions to Employment is designed to provide employment preparation training for adults with mild development disabilities. In the role you will support participants in obtaining real world, hands-on, practical experience through career coaching, community job exploration, and connection to work-integrated learning experiences. This is a full-time position.

The language employment program is designed to support CLB3+ learners with disabilities to grow their employment language and participate in a work experience. The Career Coach will support learners with 1-1 support and will connect with employer-partners to create work experiences. This is a part-time (0.5FTE) position.

- Supporting students in their career journey through career coaching on resume writing, interview preparation, goal setting, job searching and more.
- Creating opportunities for students to connect their academic experience to the real world through Work-Integrated Learning experiences.
- Engaging all stakeholders: students, faculty, and employer-partners to develop mutually beneficial learning opportunities.
- Collaborating with WILCEC Leadership to start small and think big to find ways forward.
- Developing students’ workforce relevance through curriculum development, presentations, workshops, and more.

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- A diploma or degree in education, human resources, management or relevant field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Some related experience in post-secondary environment or hiring/recruiting environment with knowledge of employability skills and career development techniques and strategies.
- Experience working in the relevant program field is an asset.
- Experience with various student demographics, such as: newcomer students or students with developmental disabilities. Familiarity or a history with special education programs an asset.
- Previous experience with providing individualized support for each student.
- Previous experience teaching or creating and delivering workshops and presentations.
- Drivers license and the ability to travel to employer-partner sites around Edmonton and area is required.

**SALARY**: $2,078-$2,700 biweekly ($54,028- $70,193 annually) reflective upon what you bring, AKA your education and experience. Transitions to Employment is a full time term position until April 30, 2025 and the LINC Learners is a 0.5 FTE part time position until September 12, 2025, with a salary prorated for part-time work. Both posisition have immidiate access to our great benefits plan.
