**Food Cost Control Analyst**

**Position Overview**:Reporting to the General Manager, the Food Cost Control Analyst analyzes data to determine where products are being wasted in different departments. Additional responsibilities include analyzing the full cycle of the cost production, from raw to finished goods, to reduce the overall cost of the company.
- Attend food cost meetings
- Understand and perform financial reporting
- Coordinate with Production & Material Planner to ensure Bill of Materials (BOM’s) are accurate and up to date
- Review and audit BOM’s
- Analyze actual material cost against standard/budget
- Research and report variances of material costs as needed
- Audit flights to ensure packing quantities/weights per invoice/specifications are adhered to
- Provide General Manager reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services
- Special projects and ad-hoc reporting as required
- Other duties as assigned by General Manager

**Qualifications/Experience**:

- Previous experience within food industry will be considered an asset
- Advanced knowledge of excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, sumifs, macros etc.)
- Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills at all levels, as required
- CBase knowledge/experience is an asset
