Agile Variable Resourcing team within BDO is looking for a Network Analyst - Network Specialist - Level III for a federal opportunity.

The following provides an overview of the opportunity:

**MUST BE LIVING IN CANADA**

**Your Experience and Education**:

- A University Degree (Bachelor or Master’s) or College Diploma
- Has a minimum of 120 months of experience architecting and implementing networking infrastructure solutions
- Has a minimum of 5 years of experience, performing all of the following networking and server related tasks in an SAP environment supporting both Microsoft OS platform and Linux platform:

- Installation
- Configuration
- Upgrades
- Clustering
- System Administration of operations
- Has a minimum of 5 years of infrastructure networking or server experience performing both of the following:

- Installing and configuring firewalls
- Networking/routing configuration and intrusion detection/prevention
- Has a minimum of 5 years of infrastructure networking or server experience in the installation and maintenance of servers including all of the following:

- Domain Name System (DNS)
- Active Directory
- Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP)
- Internet Information Services (IIS)
- Must have experience installing and configuring a Web Application Firewall.
- Must has experience building and securing a complete development and deployment environment for Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Must have experience performing networking activities in an SAP environment within a Cloud infrastructure
- Must have experience supporting and/or maintaining the following components of an MS Azure cloud infrastructure:

- Azure Application Gateway
- Azure Key Vaults
- Azure Vnet integration
- Azure Network Virtual Appliances
- Application delivery controller (ADC)

**Position responsibilities involved, but not limited to**:
There are several broad task areas where the Network Analyst - Network Specialist - Level III will be called upon to provide the above services.

They may include but are not limited to the following field of activities:

- Develop, maintain and update documentation of technical requirements, specifications and design documents
- Perform requirements gathering
- Develop, maintain and update business and functional requirements,
- Provide input to project scope, estimates of effort and duration.
- Translate functional and business requirements into technical requirements.
- Develop technical standards for the technical framework.
- Maintenance and support of network flows for IAAS, PAAS and SAAS configuration and implementation.
- Design and implement network flows for Azure Services and offerings
- Integrate and test Azure network flows
- Develop Azure technical architecture network flows
- Manage or execute specific project deliverable and scope to ensure project schedules & timelines are respected
- Articulate proposed solutions in technology terms and demonstrate solution effectiveness in meeting technology needs
- Plan, manage and perform the activities related to detailed analysis and design of IT solutions
- Understand the functionality of other Azure Offerings network flows and their integration points and network flows
- Own and develop activity profiles and scripts, standard operating procedures, and related documentation
- Implement network flows for cloud server infrastructure and environment hardware/software Operating System (OS) /Virtual Machine (VM) releases, OS/VM upgrades & OS/VM patches
- Assist in defining network flows requirements for the implementation including network flows for server infrastructure and environment hardware/software along with the environments
- Provide expert advice related to the internal workings of systems’ network flows, infrastructure and environment
- Configure, monitor, tune, and troubleshoot the network flows for IAAS, PAAS and SAAS environment
- Install, upgrade, and maintain network flows OS/VM infrastructure
- Document and update the existing network flows for OS/VM and networking environments
- Introduce technical changes or configuration into the environment to maintain reliability, availability and performance of the network flows landscape
- Administer the infrastructure including:

- Plan and perform network patch upgrades,
- Assist in the Design and maintain physical network layout,
- Design and implement backup and restore strategy,
- Maintain network and firewall security,
- Administer network performance,
- Manage server storage,
- Determine and resolve server, firewall and network problems
- Planning and Implement server OS/VM upgrades
