Produce Clerk

We are looking for individuals with an outgoing personality and a friendly smile. As a Produce Clerk at Red Barn Market, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and quality of our produce department. You’ll work closely with our customers, ensuring they have access to the freshest fruits and vegetables. **Responsibilities**:

- **Stocking and Display**: Arrange and replenish produce displays, ensuring items are well-presented, labelled, and rotated.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect produce for freshness, and quality. Remove damaged or expired items promptly.
- **Customer Assistance**: Assist customers with their produce selections and answer questions.
- **Maintain Cleanliness**: Keep the produce area clean, organized.
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor inventory levels, track expiration dates, and communicate restocking needs to the manager.
- **Compliance**: Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations.

- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to spot quality issues and maintain an attractive display.
- **Customer Service Skills**: Friendly, approachable, and willing to assist customers.
- **Physical Stamina**: Able to lift and carry heavy boxes and stand for extended periods.
