**Summary**

The main responsibility of this position is processing of warranty claims which includes processing and reviewing claims, overseeing fraudulent claims, monitoring and maintaining warranty documents on all OEM warranty program divisions.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, stocking in of vehicles into the computer system, switchboard/reception, contacting/follow up with service customers and providing backup for service desk.

**The Details**
- Ensuring that documents are accurate and well-maintained.
- Keeping up-to-date with dealership announcements and factory recalls.
- Organizing and maintaining customer and service records.
- Maintaining good relationships with clients.
- Perform research on warranties and prepare customized warranty papers for work.
- Review all warranty claims and administer it with warranty awarded.
- Coordinate with manager and prepare repair order for authorization as per warranty requirement.
- Assist various departments and fulfill all warranty requirements.
- Supervise all information and update database and prepare required filing documents.
- Maintain knowledge on various warranty programs by active participation in education programs.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and ensure compliance to all warranty specifications.
- Prepare and maintain all warranty documents according to distributor and manufacturer requirements.
- Manage all warranty claims, resubmit claims if required and ensure appropriate action.
- Maintain records of customer details and warrantor references.
- Answering switchboard, taking accurate messages and redirecting calls.
- Stocking in new vehicles into the computer system.
- Calling up service customers to set up service appointments.
- Follow up with customers after service has been completed.
- Provide back up at service counter dealing with customers, initiating work orders, etc.
- Maintain filing and archiving of service records.

**Education & Experience**- Grade 12 education (minimum)
- College certificate or additional courses in accounting or business administration would be an asset.
- Automotive warranty processing experience in a Ford environment would be a definite asset.
- Minimum 3 years work experience preferably in a dealership environment.
- Experience with Serti software would be an asset.
