**Key Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience from arrival to departure.
- Manage reservations, large group bookings and table assignments using our reservation software, maximizing seating capacity and optimizing revenue generation.
- Coordinate with the management team to facilitate group bookings and special event arrangements.
- Respond to guest inquiries and special requests in a timely and efficient manner, always seeking to exceed their expectations.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our menu offerings and be able to provide recommendations or accommodate dietary restrictions.
- Ensure the front-of-house area is well-organized and inviting, including menu organization, cleanliness, and ambiance.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies that enhance guest satisfaction and drive repeat business.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and service staff to ensure a smooth dining experience for our guests.
- Maintain guest confidentiality and adhere to all data privacy regulations.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a host or reservationist role, preferably within a premium restaurant setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in reservation management software and basic computer skills.
- A passion for the restaurant industry and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- A professional, polished appearance, and demeanor.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Knowledge of modern dining culture is a plus.

Pay: From $16.55 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Toronto, ON M5E 1M2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
