Reporting to the management team, the Warranty Inspector will be responsible for:

- Providing quality control inspections to the construction team prior to closing
- Conducting the PDI, PDI follow up and the Tarion Warranty Claim inspections with the homeowner's
- Assessing emergency calls
- Providing information to homeowners regarding their Tarion warranty coverage and explaining the use/function of various features of the home
- Complete written reports following assessments which provide the warranty coordinators with the information required to schedule repairs
- Ensure paperwork, photos and reports are completed and filed electronically
- Assist colleagues in understanding scope of work and Tarion's Construction Performance Guidelines

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**:

- Understanding of new home construction terminology and the Ontario Building Code is essential
- Previous experience in new home warranty and understanding of the Tarion Construction
- Performance Guidelines would be an asset
- Proficiency in English
- Must be able to use computer technology to upload photos and written reports
- Excellent customer service skills in dealing with homeowners
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a positive manner as well as having a flexible work style
- Self-directed with ability to work independently, and with little supervision.
- Punctual, reliable, with an excellent work ethic is paramount
