**Your Opportunity**:
As a part of the Information Risk Management team the analyst provides Tier-2 operational support responding to General Service Requests (GSR) and Incidents. This position acts as the contact for AHS program areas for concerns related to security controls and compliance with relevant security policies.

**Description**:
This role provides Tier-2 operational support responding to General Service Requests (GSR) and Incidents and be part of the GRC on-call rotation. This position acts as the contact for AHS program areas for concerns related to security controls and compliance with relevant security policies. This position acts as a contact for questions and concerns related to compliance with relevant AHS security policies, security controls, legislated and regulatory requirements. IT Compliance and Risk Analysts work closely with Privacy on the development and submission of Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA). Following appropriate risk assessments, which include various processes, assessments, and checklists, the Analyst will review new systems or solutions prior to implementation to identify potential risks and mitigation options to be implemented by the business and service owners.

**Required Qualifications**:
Degree/Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent education and experience in lieu. 5+ years of progressive IT experience. Knowledge of industry best practices with respect to disciplines in major accountability areas identified above. Proven experience in large, complex organization is preferred.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
Good communications skills: Able to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders, both in technical and business terms. Excellent understanding of IT Risk Management. Understanding of security/compliance related IT industry standards and frameworks.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Knowledge of industry best practices with respect to disciplines in major accountability areas identified above. Proven experience in large, complex organization is preferred.
