**THE ROLE**:
The Room Attendant is responsible to make sure our guest rooms are always ‘fresh and welcoming’ for our guests.

**ACTIVITIES**:
The duties and responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to the following:

- **Room Attendant**:

- Clean and maintain guest rooms according to established standards.
- Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and ensure rooms are properly stocked.
- Perform general cleaning tasks throughout the hotel to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
- **Front Desk**:

- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
- Check guests in and out efficiently, processing payments and providing necessary information.
- Answer inquiries, provide information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
- Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and professionally.
- **Breakfast**:

- Set up breakfast buffet and ensure food items are fresh and well-presented.
- Monitor and replenish breakfast items as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the breakfast area.
- Interact with guests to ensure they have an enjoyable breakfast experience.
- **Laundry**:

- Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and towels according to established procedures.
- Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure clean linens are readily available for housekeeping and guest use.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laundry area.

**COMPETENCIES WE ARE SEEKING**:

- Previous hotel cleaning and customer service experiences are an asset.
- Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand or walk for an extended time period.
- Flexible attitude to scheduled shifts - the incumbent may need to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.
- Flexible and energetic with the ability to work under pressure.
- Literacy skills - reading, writing, and oral.
- Outstanding organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
- Work well independently and in a team environment with minimum supervision.
- Self-motivated, honest, creative, capable of working in a team environment.
