**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, School of ESL, the ESL Program Assistant is responsible for completing tasks required by the ESL office and meeting requests of faculty, manager, and Chair/ Associate Dean at various stages of the EAP program cycle for each of the 8-week EAP sessions.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Maintains student academic records.
- Liaises with other departments including International Centre/Admissions, Registrar, Student Services, Finance Office/Accounts Receivable, regarding routine processes and student issues related to academic standing, enrollment, and graduation certificates.
- Supports Associate Dean and Manager to generate non-full time faculty contracts, faculty (SWF) workload preparation, and schedule meetings for Associate Dean, as required.
- Attends College Open Houses, job fairs, newcomer fairs, occasionally.
- Oversees and processes student transactions including withdrawals, student class delivery mode requests, academic stream and Selectives course requests, responds to general inquiries.
- Provides support to students who speak and write the same language.
- Attends online EAP placement test sessions, answering student questions and troubleshoots technology problems.
- Tracks faculty assignment history in ESL database, and in DCU, occasionally.
- Assists with uploading final grades on ESL database and college (Millennium) data system at the end of each 8-week session.
- Supports the Continuing Education ESL program with the online registration process during each 6-week session (2 sessions per semester). Responsibilities include gathering online registrations, submitting to Registration Office for processing, troubleshooting registration issues with Registration Office or for students, communicating with students with registration confirmation and reminders for payment, resolving GBC password issues for students, conducting class visits, and reaching out to students for payment in order to remain registered.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Educational and Experience Requirements**:

- Three-year diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution in Business Administration or equivalent.
- Minimum two (2) years of general office administration experience.

**Skills and Attributes**:
