**Job Description Summary**

**Tasks & Responsibilities**

**HR / Staffing**
- Supervise the day-to-day operations of The Operations Ambassador team
- Hire, train and schedule roaming Ambassadors; complete bi-weekly time sheets for staff
- Supervise, mentor, empower and motivate the team of Ambassadors
- Hold regular staff meetings and training
- Measure individual & team performance through annual and ongoing review process, provide regular & timely feedback to staff and manage performance issues (if any)
- In conjunction with the Marketing Manager, establish Ambassador appearance guidelines and ensuring guidelines are adhered to

**Gift Cards/ Financial Reporting**
- Support the Midtown gift card program, which includes:

- Complete regular reconciliation reports and deposits; submit reporting accordingly
- Operate, replenish supplies and trouble shoot two digital Gift Card Kiosks
- Maintain inventory levels of gift card stock, receipt paper, GC sleeves, etc. and re-order as necessary
- Develop and maintain corporate gift card database and establish sales outreach program
- Train and set up new retailers on the gift card program and resolve any gift card inquiries/issues
- Ensure gift card policies and procedures compliancy to minimize financial risk o Develop and execute ideas to drive gift card sales, together with Marketing Team

**Client Relations / Communications**
- Provide excellent customer service to customers and retailers
- Cultivate relationships with the shopping centre’s retailers and continually stay abreast of product offerings and store promotions
- Oversee customer texting service

**Event Coordination & Communications**
- Assist the Marketing Manager with the development and implementation of all special events including planning, contests, giveaways, resource coordination, execution, and post event analysis.
- On site support of marketing promotions and initiatives, including marketing support on evenings and weekends

**Digital Communications**
- Monitor, manage website, digital and social media
- Posts and manages store listings, promotions, and job listings on behalf of retailers
- Support the marketing team by contributing ideas for the e-newsletter and blog, and grow databases
- Monitors and manages social media platforms
- Assists with graphic design, signage and asset creation using Canva templates - Tracks analytics, data and other key metrics and complete required reporting

**Miscellaneous**
- Assist with monthly reporting as required by Marketing Manager
- Reviews and responds to community and donation requests
- Acts as ambassador for Midtown at a community and local level and beyond (e.g. Tourism events, seminars, etc.)

**Qualifications**
- Minimum High School Diploma required
- Post-secondary education in marketing, business or hospitality & tourism would be considered an asset
- Excellent knowledge of good customer service practices and must display a high level of professionalism at all times
- Strong communications (written & verbal), listening, organizational and problem solving skills
- Proficiency with computers (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Canva, Website CMS); POS system an asset.
- A ‘can-do,’ ‘hands-on’ attitude with the ability to motivate and manage others
- Solid knowledge of the City of Saskatoon & surrounding area, including attractions and special events
- Must be able to provide clear criminal background check

**Working Conditions**
- Open availability to work during the day, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ambient shopping centre noise levels
- Standing and walking for long periods of time
