Insulation Installer

We have an opportunity for you Yvon Insulation is currently looking for an Insulation Installer role out of our Burlington, Ontario location. Reporting to the Manager, Attic, the Insulation Installer will assist with the installation of various products in a safe and efficient manner under the supervision of a supervisor.

**What you will be doing**:

- Maintains a safe working environment by following Yvon’s health and safety guidelines.
- Measures and cuts insulating material to required dimensions using a olfa knife
- Maintains the necessary truck stock/inventory (equipment and tools).
- Fits insulation around obstructions and between studs and joists.
- Installs vapour barriers.

**Education**
- High School Diploma

**Experience**
- Greater than one year of experience in a similar capacity.

**Duties**:

- Install insulation materials in residential and commercial buildings
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas
- Seal gaps and cracks to prevent air leakage
- Use tools such as tape measures, knives, and staplers to install insulation
- Follow safety guidelines and wear protective equipment while working

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as an insulator is preferred but not required
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy materials

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
