The Marketing Capabilities, Delivery & Analytics (MCDA) function within Marketing is a central source of expertise for targeting strategy and program execution, customer and business analytics, machine learning and AI model development, marketing data strategy, and marketing technology build and management. The function supports both corporate and business unit strategies for TD Bank Financial Group Canada and TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank.

The team mission is to build and deliver best in class marketing programs and initiatives that drive ROI and shareholder return through optimizing the impact of marketing. We do this by delivering by focusing on who to target, what to say, when to say it, and where to reach them.

The AVP, Marketing Delivery will report to the VP, NA Marketing Capabilities, Delivery & Analytics. This person will work as a key member of the leadership team to deliver the overarching strategy, with a focus on driving transformation within the team; delivering an enhanced colleague experience through tools, technology, and training; leading marketing reporting for better decision making; and setting and delivering a robust data strategy and model.

Key Responsibilities

This role is accountable for working with key Marketing partners to oversee, manage and deliver the end to end targeted activities. This includes informing targeting strategy and requirements documentation, building marketing flows and lists, managing program deployment with key agencies, measuring program performance, informing optimization, and overseeing and managing the program fulfillment process.
- Acting as the primary intake and advisors for Marketing partners for Program needs
- Actively working with Marketing partners to scope, size, and prioritize requests and projects based on value and effort and to track and communicate ongoing progress to key business leaders
- Optimizing customer value through targeted analytics and optimization techniques applied to marketing programs and campaigns
- Working with business analytics to deep dive into performance drivers and the modeling team to develop predictive models to support effective marketing campaigns
- Working closely with Marketing partners and advise on target definitions of customers and identifying opportunities to increase profitability through effective customer segmentation
- Oversight and accountability for the end to end program delivery process and operations - ensuring high quality and flawless execution, streamline and efficient processes, and on time SLA delivery
- Ensuring all marketing programs are measurable and measured in a reasonable time period post deployment. Leveraging automated measurement and other tools to ensure there is a single source of truth for performance and optimizing ongoing and future campaigns
- Building and maintaining best in class marketing analytics team, with a streamline and consistent onboarding process and ongoing training and development to ensure team has required skills to execute on high quality marketing campaigns
- Establishing, measuring, and tracking operational metrics for the team, setting efficiency and effectiveness targets
- Building out the process improvement roadmap and manage the implementation of the recommendations from the recent end to end process reviews
- Working with the AVP of Marketing Capabilities and Data Governance to transition the program execution process to the Akora ecosystem (TDs big data ecosystem)
- Supporting the customer list needs for the Consumer Insights & Research team
- Working with other MCDA leadership to build a high performing team and to tell the story of Campaign Analytics to the broader Marketing organization. Identifying and executing on opportunities to enhance the MCDA team's performance through the use of automation, technology, tools, and training that improve efficiency, effectiveness, and overall colleague experience

**Qualifications**:

- Proven ability to manage a high demand operational delivery teams - understanding how to balance team workloads, manage partner expectations, prioritize requests, and mitigating operational risk
- Operational experience in a complex environment
- Experience and a passion for designing, managing and improving financial and operational processes, proactively seeking out opportunities for process optimization and efficiency
- Strong aggregation and synthesis skills with an ability to take complex concepts and data and build a compelling story and narrative that is data driven and grounded in evidence
- Strong project management skills. Ability to lead and manage multiple projects and initiatives at once. Strong multi-tasking skills
- Confident interacting and presenting to stakeholders and partners with strong skills in negotiation and influence
