Duties:
Greet and assist customers with information, and/or help in gathering and loading materials

Assist customers in handling large or heavy items.

Load and unload materials from Internal/external deliveries using a variety of equipment (forklift, Pallet truck)

Take all necessary safety precautions when handling freight, tools, and equipment.

Store material in correct locations in the yard.

Keep the yard clean and the inventory neat and orderly.

Be familiar with the safe operation and maintenance of equipment, including forklift, pallet jack, banding machine, etc.

Work on any special projects assigned by your supervisor, after determining their priority in relation to your other duties.

Qualifications:
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, management, and employees.

Must be alert to all yard activities to help customers, use equipment properly, help in loss control and yard safety and security measures, etc.

Ability to work cooperatively in a team atmosphere.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.50-$19.00 per year
