**We are looking for a dynamic Dishwasher/Food Service Attendant to join our team.**

**Position Summary**:
Under the direction of the Culinary Manager, the Food Service Attendant is responsible professional service of food/beverages to our residents and guests. Also accountable to complete duties as assigned by the Culinary Manager

Nature and Scope:
Ensures the daily maintenance of all dietary areas.

Qualifications:

- Must possess a grade 12 Secondary School Diploma
- Must demonstrate an active interest in ongoing education.
- Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Hours of Work:

- Available 7 days per week
- Flexible hours

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

- Follow established policies, procedures, work systems and cleaning procedures to meet regulatory requirements
- Ensures food is prepared and served in accordance with health and food guidelines
- Participates in meal presentation
- Works cooperatively with the interdisciplinary team
- Assists in organizing food preparation to ensure all meals and snacks are served on time, at an appropriate temperature, texture, and quantity
- Cleans and cares for and stores equipment properly in designated areas after each use
- Responsible for reporting any required repair work or deficiency in the environment
- Delivers and serves meals according to residents assessed needs
- Assists with dining room clean-up, tear down, set up, dishes and garbage disposable
- Assists in preparing the food and the environment for all special events
- Must participate on various lodge and department committees as required
- Must actively participate in ongoing educational opportunities
- Works cooperatively with volunteers and student placements to enhance the scope of the department
- Is competent in the safe use of chemicals (WHMIS guidelines)

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: From $16.08 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
