AMGAS is currently looking to enhance our Balzac team with a results-driven Shipper & Receiver with a logistics background who is motivated, organized and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Shipper & Receiver handles organizing and coordinating transportation of equipment and manages the timely flow of customer orders to meet specified deadlines.

**Core Responsibilities: (**may include, but not limited to**)**

**Logistics**:

- Adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to facilitate the shipping and receiving of products to and from the shop on behalf of the client. This includes organizing the shipping or receipt of products and the preparation for delivery of products to and from the facility with focus on accuracy, efficiency, and time management.
- Work with suppliers, third party logistics, and Sales for process, scheduling and tracking of shipments
- Verify costs, documentation and data are entered into the system.
- Provide and maintain good customer service by liaising with carriers, suppliers, and customers to coordinate the movement of goods and address any issues that may arise.

**Shipper**:

- Inventory management, keeping track of items being shipped, including quantities and product specifications.
- Daily upkeep of the shop - cleaning and organizing.
- Keeping the wash bay clear for cleaning equipment.

**Receiver**:

- Unloading items from incoming transportation vehicles and ensuring they are handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Inspecting incoming goods for any damage, discrepancies, or defects. Reporting any issues to the appropriate parties.
- Recording received items in the inventory system and ensuring they are properly stored or distributed to the correct locations within the organization.
- Adhering to safety regulations and compliance requirements when handling and storing incoming goods, including any hazardous materials.
- Performs other duties as assigned such as shop duties, assisting in parts runs and assisting field technicians as required.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**:

- International experience especially on the logistics side is considered a huge asset
- Capacity to work on multiple projects at once and maintain a high-level of organization to meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work some overtime, after hours and emergency calls
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients and contractors
- Positive attitude with critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt and learn quickly

**Education & Experience**:

- 2+ years of prior logistics, shipping and receiving experience within a small to medium organization
- Cross border experience is an asset
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean driver’s abstract
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other Company employees, vendors or third parties and customer representatives
- Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products
- Importation of goods into Canada is considered an asset
- Knowledge of the industry is considered an asset
