Leduc, Canada Residential Aide Placement Service (RAPS) Full time

**Overview**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance with daily living activities. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort and safety in various settings such as home care, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or within the community. Your commitment to patient care will make a significant difference in the lives of those you serve.

**Schedule**:
**Tuesdays and Thursdays**

**4pm-7pm *Occasional Saturdays**

**$23.00/ hour**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with daily activities including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' well-being.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety while moving around the home or facility.
- Support clients with dementia care by implementing engaging activities that promote cognitive function.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties as needed.
- Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as nursing, senior care, or home care is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
- Physical stamina to assist clients with mobility and perform light housekeeping tasks.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours as needed.
