Vancouver, Canada Air System Supplies Full time

**Responsibilities include**:

- Overseeing the daily shipping and receiving of freight
- Preparing waybills and utilizing proper packing techniques to prepare shipments ensuring zero incidents during transit
- Contact shipping companies to schedule pickups and deliveries
- Assist transport companies, and customers upon their arrival to provide their orders
- Pick and prepare large orders in advance of pickup by customer and/or transport companies’
- Work closely with office staff to plan and execute delivery schedules
- Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and other equipment to safely move products to their proper locations and assist with loading and unloading trucks as necessary.
- Inspect freight upon arrival and document any signs of damage
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate low quantities to administrative staff as necessary
- Inspect equipment and facilities regularly and oversee general maintenance as needed
- Supervise daily activities of the warehouse, including quality assurance, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service
- Maintain a well-organized and clean work area for ease of moving freight and keeping a safe work environment
- Provide front line customer service at order desk as needed

**Core requirements**:

- At least 1 year working experience in a warehouse environment (5 years is preferred)
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment that includes heavy lifting and moving constantly throughout your shift.
- Forklift experience (3-wheel counterbalance stand-up forklift is preferred)
- Ability to operate safely and adhere to a safe and environmentally responsible workplace
- Possess organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis of being able to work with others
- Ability to work both independently or as a member of the team
- An intermediate level of computer and phone skills
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
