St Adolphe, Canada Radford's Plumbing and Heating Full time

Based in Southern Manitoba we are your full service plumbing and heating specialists offering a variety of services including new builds, renovations, water treatment and general service in agricultural, commercial and residential sectors. We are looking to hire a skilled journeyman with experience in commercial/agricultural plumbing, gas piping and mechanical installations (including necessary ductwork).

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, repair, and maintainance of plumbing/heating systems in residential, agricultural and commercial sectors
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures
- Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure efficient and effective plumbing installations
- Adhere to safety standards and building codes

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Journeyperson Plumber
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized plumbing equipment
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

**Skills**:

- Knowledgeable and proficient in troubleshooting and repairing rural plumbing including softeners, pumps, boilers, wells and septic systems
- Capable of heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments
- Ability to read and understand schematics for plumbing systems
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, angles, etc.

*must have gasfitters license. Proficiency in working with tin/ducting in addition to troubleshooting boiler systems and pumps would be considered a relevant asset*

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $42.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Overtime pay

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)
