**Responsibilities**:

- Strong interpersonal skills to put patients at ease and explain things in easily understandable terms
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to interact with patients and physicians
- Attention to detail to notice abnormalities in sonograms
- Hand-eye coordination to adjust the movement of the ultrasound transducer based on the images seen on the screen
- Technical and analytical skillsto troubleshoot complex diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work well under pressure and sometimes in emergency situations
- Strong teamworkto interact with our medical team
- Medical knowledge, including a strong understanding of anatomy, to create proper images for our reading physicians
- Strong communication skills and ability to report to the Quality Advisor as well as management

- **Minimum of 5 years experience in a Medical Diagnostic Imaging facility in Ontario**:

- **Sonographer's diploma/degree from either a Canadian Sonography educational facility or a diploma/degree that has been certified by a Canadian Sonography Educational facility.**:

- **Be a Canadian Citizen and reside in Toronto / GTA**:

- **Must speak/read/write English**

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: From $35.50 per hour

**Experience**:

- ultrasound: 5 years (required)

- CMRITO Certificate and appropriate liability insurance. (required)
