Woodworker

**Looking for dependable, quality-driven Woodworker to join our team**

**Requirements**:

- Valid Ontario drivers license and reliable vehicle
- 5 years minimum woodworking experience required.
- Residential Carpentry experience an asset

**Job Duties Include**:

- Determine product specifications and materials, work methods, and machine setup requirements, according to blueprints, oral or written instructions, drawings, or work orders
- Select knives, saws, blades, cutter heads, cams, bits, or belts, according to workpiece, machine functions, or product specifications
- Examine finished workpieces for smoothness, shape, angle, depth-of-cut, or conformity to specifications and verify dimensions, visually and using hands, rules, calipers, templates, or gauges
- Maintain and repair of all tools and machinery in the shop
- Perform in compliance with the building code rules and regulations
- Set up, operate, and tend drill presses, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, wood-nailing machines, etc.
- Create cabinetry, furniture, interior finishing's such as trim, stairs, stringers and treads, railings, posts, etc. as per specifications or drawings
- Check material deliveries for accuracy in quantity and measurement and for any damage, noting any discrepancies directly on the delivery ticket
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the shop, ensuring all materials and tools are organized and are kept in designated areas as well as ensuring materials are being covered outside to protect from the weather
- May be required to work on site and perform carpentry tasks to complete a job or task.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Woodworking: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Ontario G Drivers License (required)
