**Heavy Equipment Technician - **Truck and Transport 3rd Year or Journeyperson**

**Job Type**: Full Time, Permanent

**Schedule**:10+ Hours per day, 5 & 2, OT after 8hr/day or 44hr/week

**Location**: 9175 - 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB

**Requirements**:

- Full Complement of Hand Tools
- Personal Reliable Vehicle
- CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support
- Valid Driver’s License (non GDL)

**Pre-employment**:

- Drug and alcohol testing which may be swab or urine depending on site requirements
- Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation
- Fitness to Work Assessment

**Heavy Equipment Technician - Truck and Transport Qualifications**:

- Must be a 3rd year or Journeyperson HET - Truck and Transport (or 4th year HET)
- Engine Rebuild and Performance Software Experience is Required
- CVIP Certification is Beneficial
- Power Train Experience is Beneficial
- Experience with Electronics and Emissions is Beneficial
- Ability to read/troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics
- Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED

**Heavy Equipment Technician - Truck and Transport Responsibilities**:

- Ensure equipment is maintained at the highest standards, in a timely manner
- Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure
- Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and overhauls
- Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture
