If this sounds like you then **SMS Equipment** may have just the position you have been searching for SMS Equipment is looking for a **Labourer** to join our highly skilled team at our **Red Deer, AB** branch.

The shift rotation for this position is **5x2.**

The hourly rate for this position is **$28.13 per hour plus applicable premiums.**

**Responsibilities include but are not limited too**:

- Responsible for moving tools, equipment and other materials to and from work areas.
- Deliver vehicles and pick-up vehicles from customer sites.
- Washing and detailing company vehicles to quality standards
- Assisting mechanical, electrical, and body repairs of heavy equipment.
- Perform general shop clean up and equipment/parts cleaning.
- Steam clean, prepare and paint components.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Have a strong awareness and attitude towards workplace health and safety.
- Motivated and able to work in a challenging environment with mínimal supervision.

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to operate with a forklift and crane.
- Possess good communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy with a variety of individuals and groups.
- Possess a strong work ethic, a commitment to excellence, acute safety awareness.
- Proven ability to adhere to and maintain workplace health and safety initiatives.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License
- WHMIS, and TDG training certification is an asset.
- Drug and Alcohol check
- Drivers Abstract
