**Position Summary/ Purpose**:
The Canteen Supervisor at Glen Arbour Golf Course is responsible for running the daily operations and overseeing all the food and beverage operations at Bunkers (canteen name). The Supervisor must ensure quality service to all members and guests with emphasis on cleanliness, efficiency, accuracy, professionalism, and courtesy always. The Supervisor is also responsible for leading and training staff, maintain inventory levels of F&B, and supplies. In addition, they must ensure that all safety and sanitation protocols are followed.

**Job Duties & Expectations**
- Serve food and beverage (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) with the strictest adherence to all NS rules-regulations, and guidelines
- Assist with food preparation, and cooking as necessary following proper food handlers’ standards
- Assist in attaining the company goals of exceeding our guests’ expectations while maximizing revenue potential.
- Inventory control: ordering and receiving supplies, ensuring accurate records of stock levels, transfer items, and waste
- Work with all Team Members to train, supervise, and maintain high standards of: cleanliness, proper storage of items, use of equipment and chemicals, proper open / close procedures
- Ensure each guest receives consistent services and product.
- Adheres to the health and safety policies in place for team members, as well as Members and guests of the club.
- Assisting with large groups and tournaments to ensure the guests expectations are exceeded.
- Be organized and maintain a positive attitude.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts in a professional and timely manner
- Become knowledgeable and able to answer basic questions about the property, the restaurant, the golf shop, our services, and the company.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and training sessions, ensuring all staff are aware of new products, promotions, and procedures
- Must be available to work 40 hours a week, 5 days a week.
- Other duties as assigned by the F&B Management

**Qualifications, Skills and Education Requirements**
- Ability to work cohesively in a team setting or on an individual basis
- One (1) year of Customer Service experienc
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Have a valid driver's license?
- Willingness to learn and work as a team
- Willing to work evenings and weekends.
