Emmy award-winning Encore VFX, is looking for a Mid Compositor to join our team of outstanding visual effects artists to work on various exciting television and motion picture projects. This position is located in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

We are a tight-knit comp crew looking for like-minded artists that enjoy a challenge and thrive in a fast
- paced multi-project environment.

**MAIN DUTIES**:
The Mid Compositor will seamlessly integrate elements into a live-action shot. They will also tackle shots from start to finish, including roto, tracking, paint, creation of elements.

Blue/green screen keying.

Strong attention to detail, sense of color, colourspace and lighting.

Composite multi-pass CG elements to create photo real shots.

Clean and efficient script organization.

Communicate progress of work to coordinator and supervisor in a timely fashion.

**WHAT YOU BRING**:
The Mid Compositor will bring previous experience as a compositor in episodic tv, commercials or feature films. They will be proficient in Nuke. After Effects and Mocha are a plus.

Knowledge of 3D particle systems in Nuke or After Effects is a plus.

Ability to collaborate in our tricky new world of work from home.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, take criticism, and work under high pressure with short deadlines.

Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to meet deadlines.

Strong emphasis on making visually pleasing VFX works of art.
