**Essential Functions**:

- Perform timely month-end close and ensure recording of all pertinent transactions.
- Properly document journal entries.
- Perform AP functions including invoice entry and payment processing.
- Perform regular bank and trust deposit reconciliations.
- Full cycle bookkeeping
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- Job costing
- Prepare intercompany transactions and monthly activities, and collections with companies.
- Financial reporting
- Compile and submit required HST remittances
- Quarterly WSIB remittances
- Source Deduction Remittances (CPP, EI, Corporate tax, etc )
- Payroll processing for select companies and generate T4's, T4A's, T5018's
- Year end preparation for corporate tax filing
- Perform basic computer and office administrative duties for holding companies as required.
- Maintain corporate records.
- Ability to be flexible within the scheduled day.

**Who You Are**:

- Minimum two years of experience in bookkeeping using Quickbooks Desktop.
- Accounting degree or diploma an asset.
- Understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Exceptional writing skills, including research, grammar, editing, and formatting.
- Great attention to detail.
- Ability to think on your feet and adapt to the various tasks at hand.
- Solid organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively.
- Passion for construction, leasing, community development, design, and sustainability.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to problem solve.
- Highest level of integrity and confidentiality

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

- DCS / DEC (preferred)

**Experience**:

- QuickBooks: 1 year (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:
