**Trees Organic coffee is going to the grand opening new store at the Surrey location.**

**We are hiring a full-time store manager for the Surrey location.**

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years experience in management positions OR Leadership skills. must be able to establish good working relationships with staff to ensure a productive work environment. This will involve, mentoring, and motivating staff.
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills. Must be able to multi-task and keep track of many different schedules, budgets, and people.
- Customer-service skills with physical stamina. The ability to be flexible with your schedule and spend full shifts on your feet to serve customers.
- Problem-solving skills. The ability to resolve personnel issues and customer-related problems is imperative.
- Solid grasp of interpersonal communications skills and Excellent conflict resolution skills - Speaking skills must be able to give clear instructions to staff and be able to explain information to employees and customers.
- Food Safe Level 1

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Work within company budgets to achieve budgeted sales and control expenses, including but not limited to cost of sales, labour cost, repairs and maintenance, utilities
- Directing and coordinating business operations on a day-to-day basis
- Local store marketing and promoting the business
- Assisting in product & services development and refinement
- Cash flow management and reporting
- Customer interaction and correspondence - Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality or service
- Ensuring overall customer satisfaction with regards to fast and friendly service, high food quality and clean facilities
- Ensure compliance with all government health and safety regulations
- Ensure employees comply with health and food safety standards and regulations
- Building customer relations
- Staff co-ordination including hiring, training and scheduling, schedule staff hours and assign duties and motivating staff morale
- Conducting ongoing training to develop the team
- Performance Management - monitor staff performance and provide feedback
- Developing assistant managers, supervisors and trainers
- Overseeing of store maintenance, cleaning, inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas
- Assist with updating processes and systems
- Ensure company policies and procedures are adhered to
- Maintain healthy relationships with suppliers
- Report issues and achievements to senior management

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Surrey, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Store management: 2 years (required)
