**Job description**

Do you have a passion for real estate management and development with a growing group of entities? Are you eager to work as part of an accounting team that loves what they do? If this appeals to you, the Armstrong Land Corp. is looking for the right individual to take on the full-time position of _**Receptionist and**_**Accounting Technician**_ at our head office in Armstrong, BC. This position will report directly to the Controller.

**Key Roles**:

- Financial statement preparation support for multiple companies in the group
- Monthly roll-over and updating of preparation files in Excel
- Data entry, including journal entries
- Bank reconciliation support
- Accounts payable support - payment runs done twice a month
- Accounts receivable support
- Receptionist tasks - Managing front desk, phones, office administration, prepare bank payments, etc.
- Other projects/reconciliations as assigned - assisting Property Manager and/or Controller

**Qualifications**:

- Experience with office administration, computerized accounting software like Sage 300 would be an asset
- Solid understanding of accounting practices and processes with previous experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- GST/PST filing experience is an asset
- Thrive in a fast-paced, varied role with shifting priorities
- Be self-motivated
- Demonstrate effective communication skills & positive attitude

**What we offer**:

- Competitive compensation, expected salary range to start would be $45,000 to $58,000 annually depending on experience and fit
