Propane Driver, Bulk

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Propane Driver on a permanent basis at our propane branch in Vanderhoof, British Columbia offering $25.04 - $31.75 per hour.

**Who we are**:
**What you’ll do**:

- Carry out propane deliveries in agricultural, commercial and domestic markets in a safe, timely and efficient manner.
- Conduct and maintain the highest standard of safety in all activities and operations ensuring compliance with standard work procedures, policies, rules and relevant regulations. This includes conducting and if applicable, documenting site inspections and visual tank inspections.
- Become familiar with the operation of the computer system used to manage customer accounts and carry out administrative responsibilities as required.
- Complete required Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Daily Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) for delivery or crane unit prior to leaving branch facility, identifying and logging defects found and reporting any major defects to supervisor.
- Ensure all necessary preventative maintenance is carried out on company vehicles driven and equipment and perform minor repairs as required.
- Observe and assess potential hazards involving customer tank installations and report concerns to the supervisor.
- Promote the sale and the use of Co-op Propane.

**Who you are**:

- You have a Class 3A license and your Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent. A Class 1 license is considered an asset.
- You, ideally, have 1 year of commercial driving experience. Prior experience delivering propane or fuel is considered an asset.
- You’re willing to work shifts, some weekends, and participate in an on-call program.
- You’re in good health and physically fit to perform all duties and responsibilities.
