We are currently seeking a **Analyst, Material Costing and Awards **based out of **Toronto **for a one year contract.

**Responsibilities**:

- Executes to procurement strategy for commodity or services including competitive benchmarking, technology direction, supplier analysis, development, selection and pricing strategy.
- Responsible to support and action product or service sourcing.
- Participates in the Customer Materials Commitment process through collection of materials pricing and Customer BOM analysis.
- Conducts customer bids within the response time objectives.
- Has frequent interaction and negotiation with industry-leading multi-national companies.
- Provides support to their internal customers.
- Provides product cost support for products in assigned geographies.
- Prepares bids including generation of BOM, cost analysis, negotiate with suppliers, and present bids to management.
- Data Pipeline: Gather required data, organize and manage the data, clean and prepare for analytics.
- Data Analysis
- Story Telling: Develop dashboards and recurring reports to translate data & information into insight.
- Updates material prices database, analyze bill of materials for competitiveness and customer compliance, review with management.
- Interacts with Commodity Management staff.

**Requirements**:

- Knowledge of the marketplace conditions for the area of specialization including industry pricing, technology and supply/demand trends.
- Working knowledge of Celestica’s global supply chain including strategic policies and objectives.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of purchasing principles and procedures.
- Understanding of specific customer needs.
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to consolidate, manipulate and analyze large quantities of data.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy and working under tight time deadlines.
- Ability to evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
- Working knowledge of Power BI required
- Execute to Business Intelligence data, and strategies
- Familiarity with visualization products such as PowerBI or Tableau.
- The ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new languages, tools, frameworks, and to stay informed on developments in ML techniques and technologies

**Experience**:

- One to Three years of relevant experience.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree in related field (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or Commerce), or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Supply Chain Management certificate
