**About the opportunity**

The appointment is expected to be in the Department of Management Science and Information Systems and to commence on July 1, 2024 (negotiable). Applicants must hold a master’s degree in Management or Decision Science, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Information Systems or a closely related discipline. Related doctoral work or a PhD degree are considered to be a strong asset.

**Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills**:

- Master’s degree in Management or Decision Science, Finance, Economics, Mathematics,

Statistics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Information Systems or a closely related
discipline, and a minimum of two years related work experience in an academic
environment. Related doctoral work or a PhD degree are considered to be a strong asset.
- Teaching experience and an established record of teaching effectiveness, preferably at both

the undergraduate and graduate levels including teaching in person and online.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills, with proven ability to

work well both in a team environment and with a high degree of autonomy.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

**Desirable Qualifications, Experience and Skills**:

- Doctoral work or a PhD degree (completed or in progress) Management or Decision Science,

Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Business Analytics, Information
Systems or a closely related discipline.
- Proven ability to work with students, supervise and train employees, and organize, prioritize

and schedule work assignments.
