We’re looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Maintenance department in our Winnipeg, MB plant, including Lead Hand(s), Trades, Inventory specialists and Planner/Scheduler.

**What You’ll Do**
- Ensure employees are provided with a safe working environment and adhere to safety and quality standards
- Develop and adhere to standards of department operation with focus on equipment reliability
- Serve as the main liaison between Maintenance and other departments
- Assist Lead Hand(s) when assigning electrical and mechanical staff to daily work orders and edit as determined based on workloads, urgency, and resources
- Support the improvement of equipment reliability by anticipating and eliminating potential breakdowns
- Oversee the Maintenance Parts personnel, ensuring adequate levels of parts and components on site/in stock
- Able to assess options/risks and make decisions on technical/equipment situations, engaging Engineering as required
- Working closely and assisting when required with the Lead Hand(s) to create shift schedules, over time requirements, vacation request approvals
- Bi-weekly enter/approve trades working hours in Kronos payroll software
- Fill in for Lead Hand position when required/necessary
- Continuously review and monitor daily maintenance operations for effective preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance practices
- Assist Director Technical on annual maintenance budgets encompassing staffing, spare parts, repairs, and contractors
- Manage sub-trades and contractors as required

- A collaborative leader that enjoys working closely with other departments, ensuring attention to detail

**What You’ll Bring**
- Industral Millwright, Industrial Electrician or equivalent technical degree or certification
- Requires at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in one or more of the skilled trades in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment, with competing demands
- Must understand the value of a work order system to support the implementation of CMMS
- Natural ability to earn trust and respect, with employees and leaders in a variety of departments
- Be prepared to occasional after hours call-in and personnel delegation in crisis situations
