Machine Operators - Die Cutting, Gluing, Foil Stamping

**Responsibilities**:

- Stable employment offered immediately for experienced die cutting, foil stamping and gluer/folder operators. Training will be provided to highly mechanical and energetic machine operators seeking a career in printing & packaging. Formal Operator Classification system for operator development.
- Experience setting up, running, maintaining & trouble-shooting machines
- Set up and operate folder/gluer, foil stamper and/or die-cutting machine according to job specifications.
- Knowledgeable on how to run various packaging jobs: pocket folders, straight line (C3), four-corner (C4) collapsible auto-lock cartons(C6), 4/6 pack baskets on bump & turn
- Review job tickets and layouts to determine gluing, cutting and stamping specifications and ensure accuracy.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper temperatures, pressures, alignment, registration, and cutting depth.
- Inspect finished products for quality and make adjustments as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance on the machines to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot any issues with the machine and make necessary repairs.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Communicate with supervisors and other team members to ensure efficient production
- Steady hours and OT available. Multiple shift operation.
- Must be respectful of product, procedures, and personnel at all times
- Must be willing to learn and teach in highly cooperative team environment

- Competitive wages $26-34 an hour (depending on Classification Level, experience and capabilities) and robust benefits package
- Multiple shift, 24-hour operations - must be flexible to adapt to existing shift patterns

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a gluer operating a gluer, foil stamper and/or die cutting machine in a printing or packaging environment.
- Familiarity with different types of dies, tooling, make ready procedures and materials.
- Ability to read and interpret job tickets and layouts.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions.

**Salary**: $26.00-$34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
