**Position Description**

E360s is a leading environmental services company dedicated to providing sustainable waste management solutions. We have partnered with Brookfield Properties to provide a dedicated Shredding Technician to join our team in downtown Toronto. As a Shredding Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the security and confidentiality of sensitive information for Brookfield Properties.

**Position Responsibilities**
- Safely operate shredding machinery to destroy sensitive documents securely and effectively.
- Regularly collect and transport confidential materials from designated areas to the shredding station.
- Document sorting: Organize documents to ensure proper shredding and disposal, adhering to established guidelines.
- Ensure adherence to NAID AAA Certification standards for document destruction, maintaining the highest level of data security.
- Maintain accurate records of shredded documents, disposal processes, and other related tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance on shredding equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Follow strict security protocols to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive information.
- Coordinate with E360s team members and Brookfield Properties staff to streamline document disposal processes and address any challenges.
- Other duties as required.

**Knowledge, Skills and Competencies**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to accurately sort and organize documents for shredding.
- Punctuality and commitment to maintaining a consistent work schedule.
- Capability to lift, move, and transport heavy bags of documents.
- Understanding of the importance of data security and confidentiality.
- NAID AAA Certification (provided by E360s).
- Willingness to collaborate with colleagues to achieve departmental goals.
- Previous experience in document handling, shredding, or data security is considered an asset.

**Experience**:

- Handling confidential documents: 1 year (preferred)
- Document shredding: 1 year (preferred)
