LMI Machine Group is a very friendly and motivated Team who works together daily to diligently produce high quality parts for our assembly team at HQ.

**What will you do as an Machine Operator?**:
Our Machine Operators are responsible to ensure all processes and procedures are followed to ensure high quality parts are produced and within the time allotted to perform the duties required to meet the specifications.

You will be working closely with your manager and co-workers in order to understand the requirements of routine maintenance and how to change over and inspect parts.

To do well in this role you should be well organized and have good multitasking experience. We support cross training and encourage growth in all our co-workers.
- Once set, load and unload components according to procedure established.
- Read drawings and execute inspection procedures to ensure part specifications are being met.
- Interface with machine controller as required to execute tasks.
- Use of appropriate precision inspection equipment to measure tolerances.
- Adhere to calibration and quality procedures and processes.
- Treat and use all equipment (tools, measuring devices, computers, etc) with care.
- Use of hand tools for finishing activities such as deburring or filing.
- Ensures quality of part meets customer specifications, and raises concerns when required.
- Promptly initiates quality processes for non-conforming parts, and follows procedures to control those components.
- Maintains a clean working area.
- Routine maintenance on the machine as outlined.
- Provides feedback and improvement suggestions on how to improve processes, fixturing, or programs when possible.
- Proactively contributes and implements continuous improvement initiatives.

**What do you need to be successful?**
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Mechanically inclined, skilled in using hand tools.
- Must be well organized and have good multitasking experience.
- Multi-tasking, organizing and time management skills required.
- Must have excellent attention to detail.
