Account Manager
DuBois Chemicals Canada is looking for a high performing Account Manager who will build upon and maintain existing customer relationships within our Mississauga area customer base. The ideal Account Manager will equally be responsible for growing the territory by building and maintaining an active new sales funnel.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform regular program audits including data collection & entry in Analytics platform and technical comment writing
- Troubleshoot quality variances in the existing program and perform adjustments
- Manage and support customers across a given geography that utilizes a wide range of product lines while creating a superior value add
- Ability to perform on-site troubleshooting and repairs of different equipment
- Responsible for conducting regular customer business reviews, financial results and building strong long-term customer relationships
- Able to identify continuous improvement opportunities and perform payback calculations
- Responsible for building a sales pipeline through booking appointments, attending first meetings and conducting presentations, and obtaining sales decision to grow the territory
- Ability to identify cross sell opportunities of different product lines
- Develop inbound lead generation channels through thought leadership
- Maintain a constant focus on work and vehicle safe driving habits
- Effective communicator who collaborates with team members and other cross functional support employees
Travel Requirements:
- This position requires daily travel to customer sites from your home base.
- Overnight and international travel may be required from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Experience in metalworking, water treatment, surface finishing and/or cleaning & sanitation.
- Demonstrated high account retention and territory growth
- Demonstrated success in new business development
- Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products and CRM functionality
- Involvement in manufacturing associations aligned with field of expertise.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental or Industrial) or a related field
