Our clinic is growing and we are expanding our team members

ADO Endodontic Clinic is looking for a part-or full-time foreign-trained Dental Assistant for chair-side assisting during treatments and consultations in our endodontic specialty clinic.

We are looking for a friendly, compassionate, positive, hard working team player with strong problem solving skills. If patient care is your passion and you enjoy professional development, you would be a valuable and welcome addition to our dental team. Previous experience in endodontic and surgical procedures would be an asset however, specific training will be provided.

Although we are a fairly new dental specialty office, we are led by a dedicated professional with significant international clinical and scientific experience. Our main focus is to provide excellent patient care in a friendly and comforting environment for adults and children.

This position would be also a great opportunity for a foreign-trained dentist during their equivalency examination journey. With this paid position comes the opportunity to advance your experience and immersion into the Canadian dental practice system and philosophy.

**Requirements**:

- Must be professional, caring, energetic and positive
- Ability to multitask
- Have strong organizational skills
- Fluent in English (verbal and written)
- Ability to follow instructions
- Must be eager and maintain a high interest to learn multiple aspects in the endodontic field as required
- Have above-average problem solving skills
- Have a strong interest in being an active and reliable member of a cooperative and supportive dental team
- Be mature and possess good judgement
- Be a team-player and work well with others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Tech-savvy (i.e. computers and dental equipment)
- Be able to type 50-60 wpm for dictation purposes
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Previous knowledge of office procedures, patient care and ICP including sterilization

Duties would include:

- Chair-side assisting - assisting with consultations, RCTs and apical surgeries
- Sterilization, room turnover and stocking rooms
- Various administrative tasks
- Other associated procedures and task necessary to allow for a smooth function of the practice

Uniform provided. Health insurance available after probation period has ended. Wages to be discussed at time of interview.

Start date: ASAP

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)

- Dental Assisting: 2 years (preferred)
