We are currently hiring experienced caregivers in the **ORANGEVILLE**.

The shifts would consist of both personal care and companionship.

We have clients that require care at all hours of the day and night, and in some cases, 24 hours a day. We will help you identify clients that fit your availability and skill level, but we ask for your patience while we discover the ideal match. The more you are available, the easier it will be to get employment.

**Job Duties**:
1) **Companionship Services**:

- the companionship services include conversation, community outings, attending to medical appointments, shopping, stimulating mental awareness and others as required;
2) **Home Support Services** - the home support services generally involve but are not limited to light housekeeping, meal preparation, laundry, changing bed lines, vacuuming, ironing;
3) **Personal Care Services **- the personal care services are related to bathing, dressing, grooming, transfers, Alzheimer/Dementia care and others as required.

Clients may require the use of mobility or transferring aids that will be apart of their ADLs. Caregivers with experience in using Hoyer, sit to stand lifts, and other mobility aids would be an asset.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Completion of formal, accredited caregiver training program (PSW or Personal Support Worker) and/or a combination of equivalent education and experience needed. Must have reliable transportation.
- Seeking individuals who are looking for a long-term career opportunity and who are compassionate, caring, and have a genuine interest in enhancing the quality of life of others.
- We are looking for caregivers who can work alone or as part of a team and take initiative.
- The capacity to speak, read, and write in Portuguese and English is a must.
- Consistent job performance & attendance our clients can rely on.
- Must have reliable transportation to drive or take the bus to work.
- Smartphone with data is required for scheduling and reporting which includes clock in and out and do visit notes.
- A criminal background check and two professional references are necessary.
- WE **DO NOT** HIRE INDIVIDUALS FROM OVERSEAS.

We provide continuing, relevant educational training modules to help you advance your knowledge while working.

**Requirements to Apply**:
1) PSW Certificate

2) Ability to pass Criminal Record check (vulnerable sector)

3) Current CPR and First aid certification

4) Willingness to wear PPE per Public Health Guidelines

5) All up to date immunizations as follows is an asset but not needed immediately:

- Negative tuberculosis test
- Diphtheria/tetanus
- Measles/mumps/rubella
- Varicella/zoster
- Hepatitis B

**We would additionally appreciate**:

- A valid Driver's License, and access to a reliable vehicle (this may be a necessity, in some cases) but have a reliable means of getting to work.
