Are you a Sales Rep looking to enter the Insurance industry? Do you have the right personality and communication skills to attract prospects to our Agency and make them our customers?Looking for an **awesome** individual to join a great team here in South Etobicoke. We are a Desjardins Insurance Agency looking for you to **help grow** **our business**. We have a diverse team reflecting the multicultural face of the GTA.We currently have an opening for an **experienced Canadian team member** to serve that segment of our clientele. Ability to speak Ukranian/Polish/Spanish or another **European language** is an asset.You must have **strong sales abilities** and enjoy dealing with customers. Due to Covid a large amount of time will be spent on the phone and computer. Strong computer skills is required. You need to be able to generate sales leads and be able to close sales. You will also be required to answer client's questions professionally.Responsibilities include the following: -Establishing relationships with centres of influence eg real estate agents, car dealers etc-Calling our clients to review their policies-Cold calling to grow our business-Answering client's questions and questions from insurance company-Taking payments-Giving insurance quotes and closing a quote to a saleIn order to start work in an Insurance Agency you will need to have your **OTL** or RIBO exams as this is a regulated industry. For the right individual, we will help you pass the OTL exam and get licensed.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $30,000.00-$50,000.00 per yearAdditional pay:

- Bonus pay
- Commission pay

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs.
- Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.
- Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options.
- Maintain a strong work ethic with a total commitment to success each and every day.

**Requirements**:

- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life and recover from the unexpected
- People-oriented
- Organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Must have OTL (Other Than Life License) or RIBO. Licensed to sell property and casualty insurance.
- Life License would be a plus
