Provincial Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (PDHHS) is a provincial government organization dedicated to supporting the diverse and multicultural goals of Deaf, Hard of Hearing and Deafblind individuals and their families within an ASL and English environment. This position, reporting to the Director of PDHHS, is responsible for the management of a busy and dynamic 24-hour residential environment, Victory Hill Residential Program (VHRP). This Team Leader maintains a variety of relationships within and outside the Ministry including residents, families, and community partners. This position provides information and reports on VHRP operations (resident development, staff supervision and training and program outcomes) and works collaboratively with other PDHHS programs and staff to maximize resources and ensure quality services for PDHHS clients.

1. Preferred Credentials:

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Social Work or in Child & Youth Care OR Master's Degree in Educational Counselling Psychology/Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology with completion of a practicum in family and child welfare OR
- In-service Ministry of Children and Family Development employees who have a regular full working level SPO 24-30 base position that requires delegation under the Child, Family and Community Services Act (CFCSA) OR
- NOTE: If this education was obtained outside of Canada, you need to confirm it has been assessed for equivalency through the International Credential Evaluation Services (ICES). You must provide a comprehensive report and the MCFD supplemental report by the closing date of this posting to be considered.
- At least 2 years of job-specific work experience. Experience supervising staff.2. Expanded Credentials:

- Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services field OR Bachelor’s Degree with a Major/Honors in a Human Services field OR Master’s level graduate Certificate/Diploma in a Human Services field AFTER the completion of an unrelated Bachelor’s Degree.
- NOTE: If this education was obtained outside of Canada, you need to confirm it has been assessed for equivalency through the International Credential Evaluation Services (ICES). You must provide a basic report by the closing date of this posting to be considered.
- Minimum 1 year of related work experience and at least 2 years of job-specific work experience OR At least 3 years of job-specific work experience. Experience supervising staff.Human Services fields include: Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, Anthropology, Early Childhood Education, Indigenous Studies, Education, Theology or Nursing.

Additional Requirements:
Must be a minimum level 8 in American Sign Language Proficiency Interview (10 levels) OR use sign language as the primary mode of communication.Preference may be given to applicants with the following:

- Preferred education credentials AND/OR in-service Ministry of Children and Family Development employees who hold a regular full working level SPO 24-30 base position that requires delegation under the Child, Family and Community Services Act (CFCSA).
- Applicants with experience working with the deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind community. Applicants with experience working in a 24-hour environment.Please note:
