In keeping with the mission and values of the organization as a member of the interdisciplinary team this position provides assistance and support to the direct client care providers on the unit in a patient-focused environment.

Job Requirements:
**Required**:

- Grade 12 education or equivalent
- PSW Certificate
- Previous experience in a health-related setting
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Tact, discretion and team skills
- Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history is a requirement

**Preferred**:

- Experience in an Acute Care setting

**Assets**:

- Knowledge of Patient Bill of Rights
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- GPA or equivalent training
- UFirst Training
- Bilingual - English and French
