**Job Summary**

The main function of the DT shipping / receiving trainer is to provide theoretical and practical training of the following sectors to the hourly staff: shipping, modules, bulk or the complete process of receiving the products.

**Primary responsibilities and Duties**

***- In addition to their daily functions, use various training tools (projector, computer, presentation software, table, give theoretical and practical training for one of the following sectors: shipping doors, module, bulk or complete process receiving the goods;- Participate in the preparation of theoretical and practical training for new hires as well as in the continuous training of employees;- Make preparations for training (printing documents, preparing the room, visual aid, etc.);- Ensure that all training documents are signed and given to the training manager every week;- Perform follow-up evaluations (10 and 20 days) of new employees;- Carry out annual employee certification;- Set an example on a daily basis, respecting health and safety rules and FedEx Supply Chain operational procedures in all sectors of the organization;- Maintain an efficient, clean and safe working environment in terms of customer, FedEx Supply Chain and CNESST standards;- Perform all other tasks and responsibilities assigned by management.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- DES or recognized equivalence;
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the above sectors in the warehouse;
- Excellent essential bilingualism (French and English);
- Very good sense of organization and priorities;
- Demonstrates leadership, initiative and a good work ethic;
- Excellent sense of customer service;
- Great listening and communication skills;
- Ability to explain clearly, promote information and to be patient;
- Ability to use training tools (eg computer, projector, presentation software, etc.)
- Ability to work standing for an extended period;
- Warehouse environment. Exposed to conditions of variable temperature, noise and working at height (stairs to be climbed frequently);
- Excellent absenteeism records;
- Day or evening and weekend schedules.

**Physical/Cognitive Requirements**- Ability to follow policies and procedures.- Ability to read, write and interpret information.- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.- Ability to sit/walk/stand for up to 10 hours per day.- Ability to intermittently crawl, squat, climb, twist, bend, stoop, push or pull.- Must possess visual acuity, i.e., close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.- Ability to lift/carry items less than 25 pounds.
