**The Opportunity**:
**Shift**:
**1 Opening - Afternoon Shift**: 2 pm - 10:30 pm (Monday - Friday)

**1 Opening - Night Shift**: 10 pm - 6:30 am (Monday - Friday) Receives a 10% shift premium

**As a Packaging Lead you will**:

- Communicate with the Supervisor to address production & performance issues and training requirements related to the packaging department
- Responsible for monitoring the packaging team’s targets/deadlines, daily performance and time management
- Ensure that all documentation is filled out accurately and in real-time
- Follow standardized work procedures and adhere to safe work practices
- Remain up to date on all SOPs and maintain documentation required for compliance
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as required
- Support new employees with on job training and provide mentorship
- High level of attention to detail while meeting strict timelines and production practices
- Work independently under limited supervision or in a team environment
- Provide performance feedback on team members to the supervisor and partake in employee evaluations
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Supervisory Alternate

**As a Packaging Lead you bring**:

- High school education required
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Excellent leadership qualities, with the ability to train employees, set and achieve goals and expectations working with up to 16 staff
- High level of personal integrity with quality assurance being a primary focus
- Excellent oral and written communication skills must be detail oriented
- Able to trouble shoot problems while maintaining a positive attitude
- Able to lift 30 lbs. on a regular basis
- Able to successfully complete satisfactory criminal record check
